The LIGTT Regional Center confirms that it has received approval from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on its I-924 application. The Louisiana International Gulf Transfer Terminal project will create a transshipment “hub and spoke” system for containerized cargo in the Gulf of Mexico. The LIGTT Regional Center is excited about the opportunities this presents and will be able to provide more details with a formal launch in the coming weeks. LIGTT Regional Center has been created by a New York private equity firm under an exclusive agreement with the Louisiana International Gulf Transfer Terminal Authority to fund and jointly manage the design, build, operation and maintenance of the LIGTT Port Project within the powers of LIGTT Authority and all applicable state and federal laws.
