The Florida Equity and Growth Fund Regional Center, LLC received designation as a Pilot Program Regional Center by the United States Department of Homeland Security’s US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Purpose

Maximize the economic impact of capital invested in Florida by providing opportunities for immigrants to the United States seeking EB-5 Visas, as well as citizens of the United States, by investing in commercial enterprises that increase economic activity through increased exports, improved regional productivity, job creation or increased domestic capital investment.

Designation as a Regional Center

On January 9, 2009, The Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Naturalization Service designated the U.S. Federal Regional Center, LLC (f/k/a Florida Equity & Growth Fund, LLC) as a Regional Center under the Immigrant Investor Pilot Program to invest EB-5 Visa investor funds. This program allows immigrants, including immediate family, to apply for permanent residence rights if they invest at least $1 million in a commercial enterprise (or $500,000 in a Targeted Employment Area "TEA") that creates 10 full time jobs. There are 10,000 visas are set aside annually for this EB-5 Visa Program.
