The Anacostia Regional Center (ARC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Anacostia Economic Development Corporation (AEDC). AEDC is a District of Columbia based, not-for-profit Community Development Corporation (CDC) organized in 1969. In 2009, AEDC incorporated the Anacostia Regional Center and gained designation by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as an EB-5 Regional Center, authorized to participate in the Immigration Investor Program.
This federally sponsored program provides the means for approved foreign nationals to obtain a visa (green card) for themselves and immediate family members by investing in projects that provide employment opportunities and stimulate economic development in economically depressed areas.
The ARC has been designated to participate in the EB-5 Regional Center Program in the following geographic areas:
