Julie Ferguson is a leading EB-5 attorney dedicated to assisting (1) developers and regional centers finance job creating capital development projects and (2) investors obtain green cards through the immigrant investor visa program.
The firm has assisted regional centers and developers in raising more than $150 million in eB-5 capital for a diverse range of projects including residential housing in mixed-use communities, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, charter schools, technology companies, hospital expansions, student housing developments and grocery store chains.
Ms. Ferguson, and her team have counseled developers, financial institutions and regional center operators in the areas of regional center formation, EB-5 project development, management, compliance and reporting. They serve as outside counsel to a prominent Florida-based regional center; they have filed applications for regional center designation and pre-approval (exemplar approval) of EB-5 compliant projects; and they are presently working on an application for designation of a new regional center covering territories in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Ms. Ferguson’s EB-5 staff is fluent in Mandarin, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. They travel and frequently speak with agents and clients in China and other countries regarding lawful source of funds documentation and to prepare clients for their immigrant visa interviews. They are very experienced in documenting the source and path of funds for proving I-526 petitions.
