Mr. Bach is certified as a Legal Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and was one of the first certified specialists when the certification program was started in the late 1980's. Currently there are 179,000 active members of the California State Bar, and only 177 are Certified Specialists in Immigration and Nationality Law. Mr. Bach is a past Chair of the California State Bar Immigration and Nationality Advisory Commission, responsible for writing and grading the immigration specialty exam for lawyers.
