Luca International Group, LLC (“LUCA” or the “Company”) was founded in 2005 and is an independent upstream energy company headquartered in Houston, Texas. The Company is focused on finding and developing low cost and low risk oil and gas reserves in the onshore Gulf Coast of the United States.
Historically, the Gulf Coast is one of the major hydrocarbon producing geologic basins in the world, with established infrastructure such as pipelines, refineries and chemical plants. All oilfield goods and services are readily available in the local area.
LUCA uses appropriate high technology, such as 3-dimensional seismic and fit-for-purpose drilling techniques, combined with highly skilled and experienced personnel to reduce risk and identify areas prospective for oil and gas. The Company concentrates in known productive areas to create and maintain a low-risk, but diverse, portfolio of drilling and producing assets.
Being small, LUCA has the advantage of being able to react quickly to opportunities that arise. Luca participates in direct leasing, joint ventures and acquisitions of properties to maintain a full portfolio of diverse opportunities for investment.
LUCA’s team has over 200 years of US oil-field experience in geoscience, petroleum engineering, drilling, land, and support functions. The Company plans to operate most of its assets to control costs and to ensure the properties are fully exploited. LUCA is a registered Operator in the states of Louisiana and Texas.
