California Energy Investment Center, LLC (“CEIC”), an approved EB-5 Regional Center by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, is pleased to announce that it is sold out of the Genesis Solar Power EB-5 Project. The EB-5 Genesis Project provided immigration investment opportunity for two hundred (200) EB-5 applicants ($100 Million in EB-5 capital). The EB-5 investment is being used to help fund one of the largest solar steam turbine generator projects in the world. The project is an approximate 280 megawatt (“MW”) (gross) (250 MW (net) solar project on 1,726 acres in eastern Riverside County, California. The Genesis project had its official opening ceremony on April 24, 2014 in Riverside County, and is providing power to the California power grid.
The CEIC was approved as an EB-5 Regional Center by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service on August 11, 2009. Under the EB-5 Program the investors qualify for the lower investment threshold of $500,000 because the CEIC designated area qualifies as a Targeted Employment Area (TEA)
The CEIC is the only EB-5 Regional Center whose focus is on a spectrum of alternative energy sectors including:
Solar Power Oil Extraction Biomass Conversion Wind Power Generation Water Recovery Geothermal Power Generation Environmental Technologies
