The law firm of Montiel Davis & Fonte, P.A. handles every aspect of immigration law, and handles some matters dealing with dissolution of marriages, adoptions and corporations. However, if a client has a problem outside of the immigration area, the firm may be able to recommend another attorney whom it feels is qualified in that field.

The firm's personal philosophy on the practice of law is that it should be more of a service than a business enterprise. Everyone at Montiel Davis and Fonte, P.A. does everything possible to provide the best service, takes all available steps to protect the best interests of its clients, and achieves the best results they can.

Although other attorneys work with Magda Montiel Davis or Kari Ann Fonte, each case is personally supervised by one of the partners and often, by both.

Montiel Davis & Fonte, P.A. works a bit different from most other law firms. The cases are worked on as a joint effort. This way the client gets the benefit of not just one, but of many attorneys' and other staff members' expertise. There is no such thing as one person alone being assigned to a case. In the course of representing a client, different staff members may enter the scene, depending on where the case is at, and what the client's needs are.

Fonte Immigration Firm, P.L. often handles complex cases involving cutting edge legal issues or difficult facts. We will not turn away a client just because a case is challenging. However not every case is accepted by the firm. A case will not be accepted if it involves fraud, or if the firm feels the client is being dishonest. A case will also not be accepted if the firm feels the client does not have a chance of success. The firm will give its professional opinion as to whether a matter is worth pursuing. If the matter is simple enough that a client can do it him/herself, or one for which the firm feels an attorney is not necessary, the firm will advise the client accordingly.
