Joseph McCarthy is a widely recognized immigration attorney, who frequently speaks in China and the United States to business professionals, government officials, attorneys, and overseas clients about EB-5 immigration. Mr. McCarthy is one of the co-founders of American Dream Fund, and for his work in EB-5, was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the “Who’s Who in Real Estate.” Mr. McCarthy is a member of the editorial board of EB5investors.com magazine and is the author of multiple chapters of a forthcoming book about EB-5.
As a partner with McAdam & McCarthy Attorneys at Law, Mr. McCarthy's primary area of legal expertise is Immigration Law, including all facets of EB-5 Regional Center and foreign investor immigration applications. He is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has successfully received USCIS approval for multiple EB-5 Regional Centers throughout the United States.
Mr. McCarthy is currently the chairman of the legislative committee of "Invest in United States of America (IIUSA)." As chairman, Joseph is responsible for leading lobbying efforts to represent all Regional Centers to the United States Congress.
Mr. McCarthy holds a law degree with honors from Seattle University School of Law, an M.S. in hydrology & aqueous geochemistry from the Colorado School of Mines, and a B.A. in geology from Whittier College.
