MARK IS A SEASONED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT AND RESTRUCTURING EXPERT who serves as a lead change agent for corporations seeking to enhance value, and advises on the restructuring and turnaround of distressed companies. For over 25 years, capital sources, management teams, boards of directors and legal counsel have retained Mark for his innovative approach to creating solutions focused on increasing enterprise value.

Mark leverages years of experience originating loans and managing distressed debt workouts in the real estate division of a money center bank to identify opportunistic restructuring situations in a wide range of industries for companies located worldwide. He has led more than 30 executive teams through intensive "top down / bottom up" reviews of internal processes, while skillfully restructuring their companies' capital structures to support desired financial metrics.

Some of Mark's notable accomplishments include:

Advisor to a marquee private equity group regarding a renewable energy investment. Completed analysis and strategic business plan over the course of three months.
Advisor to the first-lien lenders of the largest waste-to-energy conversion company in the United States. Served as a lead member of the restructuring team, which accomplished a 100% ($300 million) recovery for first-lien holders.
Halted a likely bankruptcy filing and renegotiated the repurchase of over $200 million in debt from GMAC on behalf of one of the world's largest timeshare operator in less than four months.
Advised the board of a $1 billion international resort community developer and was instrumental in devising a strategy to seize immediate control of all developments and rationalize resource commitments.
Mark has lived and worked in the United States, Europe and Australia and is fluent in English and German. He graduated from Fairfield University in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and earned his MBA from Columbia University in 1995.
