Suraj brings nearly 15 years of legal experience in commercial real estate development to Green Card Fund. Suraj’s leadership roles include management and oversight of all legal aspects dealing with acquisitions, corporate structuring, feasibility, contracts, compliance, sales transactions, real estate and property development, equity and debt financing, construction development, and leasing. Suraj’s focus remains steadfast on ensuring that NewGen experiences strong and sustainable growth while limiting liabilities and undue risk.
Prior to joining Green Card Fund, Suraj was managing partner of Bhakta & Associates, PLLC where here represented a wide variety of business client as a part of a full-service law firm. He is a native of Ohio where he grew up in the greater Cincinnati area, graduated in 1999 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University in 2002.
